The Amazing Birthday Cake

Yes, I have a fabulous husband! When he asked me a couple of days ago which cake I would like for my birthday, I teasingly showed him a picture from a magazine and said: "That one, please!". A few raised eyebrows from J. and a frightening quantity of double cream later, I give you, Ladies and Gentlemen: Le Vacherin aux Marrons, Rhum et Chocolat! Truly delicious... (and yes, only 8 candles. What a Gentleman!)
